The "Double Roll" Confusion Explained
If you are shopping online, you will likely see a price for a "Single Roll," but when you add it to your cart, it says "Sold as Double Roll Bolt."
- Single Roll: Approx 25-28 sq. ft. (The pricing unit).
- Double Roll (Bolt): Approx 56-60 sq. ft. (The actual physical roll you receive).

Always calculate based on Double Rolls . It is better to have left over paper for repairs than to be one strip short.
What is a "Drop Match"?
If you have a large floral or geometric pattern, the design runs diagonally. To line up the flowers on the seam, you often have to cut off 10-20 inches of paper at the top of every strip.
This is why our calculator adds a 25% waste factor for large patterns. Do not try to save money by buying exact amounts for a drop match pattern—you will run out.
Paste & Primer Guide

The Golden Rule: Check Batch Numbers
Important:
Wallpaper is printed in batches (Run Numbers). The ink color can shift slightly between batches.
When your rolls arrive,
check the Lot Number
on every label. If you have 5 rolls from Lot A and 1 roll from Lot B, the colors might not match perfectly.
Professional Tools List
Don't ruin expensive paper with cheap tools. Here is what you need:
- Smoothing Tool: Use a flexible plastic smoother (not metal, which tears paper) to push out air bubbles.
- Seam Roller: A small wooden or plastic roller to press the edges down flat so they don't curl.
- Snap-off Blade: Wallpaper gets wet and soggy. A dull blade will rip it. Snap off a fresh blade tip after every few cuts .
- Sponge & Bucket: You must wipe off excess paste immediately. If it dries on the front of the paper, it leaves a shiny residue.
